Snobug – Album Release Party
Be one of the first to hear the brand new album by Tulsa-based ensemble, Snobug, with a special live performance at LowDown on Thursday, September 25. Snobug shows range from lush originals and freeform improvisations to inventive covers. A blend of both instrumental and vocal music, audiences will get the romanticism of strings with hard-driving, earthy grooves.
Snobug includes Olivia McGraw on violin, Matt Magerkurth on cello, Jordan Hehl on double bass, and Nicholas Foster on percussion.

Snobug is an experimental chamber ensemble from Tulsa OK that has been performing together for 7 years. Their debut self-titled album is being released in September 2025.
Blue Whale Comedy Night feat. Nico Carney
Nico Carney is a Brooklyn-based stand-up, writer, and actor. His standup covers his experiences as a trans man growing up in Savannah, Georgia, and whatever else he finds silly and interesting. In 2024, Nico made his late-night debut on LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS and was named a 2024 Comic You Should And Will Know by Vulture. He was selected as a JFL New Face in 2023 and was part of the inaugural Netflix "Introducing..." Showcase at the 2022 Netflix Is a Joke festival. He and his comedy partner Conor Janda also co-host the podcast and live show, BOYS CLUB. Nico can be seen starring in the indie film SHE'S THE HE, which premiered at SXSW this year.

Jennifer Knapp, a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, author, speaker, and advocate, has made a significant impact on the music industry over two decades. Her first three albums, including the Gold-certified "Kansas," collectively sold over one million copies, earning her four Dove Awards and two Grammy nominations. Known for her poignant exploration of the human experience and spirituality, Knapp is also a trailblazer in advocacy, notably discussing LGBTQ+ identity. She founded the non-profit Inside Out Faith in 2012, advocating for LGBTQ+ rights within faith communities. Recently completing a master’s degree in theological studies, Knapp remains dedicated to advancing social justice through music and discourse. Magic City Books Presents: A Magical Night with Penn Jillette
Magic City Books is thrilled to welcome back Penn Jillette for a special event to celebrate his latest book, Felony Juggler, on Tuesday, July 8 at 7:00 pm.
Penn will be in conversation with Magic City Books co-founder Jeff Martin, and you can expect a night of laughs, gags, and a couple of fun surprises.
This ticketed event will take place at LowDown in Tulsa, 108 N Detroit Ave. All tickets include one (1) copy of Felony Juggler ($26.95 value) and one (1) general admission seat at the event on July 8.
All books will be available for pickup at the event.
All tickets include a copy of the book. There is a limit of four tickets per transaction.
If you have a ticket and are unable to attend the event, you will be able to pick up your book at Magic City Books during normal business hours. The last day for ticket holders to pick up Felony Juggler by Penn Jillette is Friday, August 8, 2025. Magic City Books will make an effort to have signed books available for pick up but can not guarantee a signed copy.

ESPIRAL7 was born of the rich rhythmic patterns of Colombian Pacific Coast folk music, blending Latin-pop and rock with Afro-Latin jazz. Their music is a constant dialogue with the diverse arts of a rich and varied region. On stage, Espiral7 delivers an explosive and captivating sonic narrative of the city of Cali. With a lineup that includes vocals, tenor sax, trumpet, electric guitar, bass, drums, and percussion, the ensemble creates an immersive and vibrant musical experience.
