Instrumentalists and singers are invited to celebrate Women’s History Month during Free Energy Night on Wednesday, March 27. Play the tunes of notable female musicians Mahalia Jackson, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Sarah Vaughn; and learn about their impact on the jazz industry. Educator, saxophonist, and composer Mike Cameron and vocalist Janet Rutland will lead the session. If you want to learn the songs before Free Energy Night, here are the music sheets.
